TI Navigator and the Mathematics Classroom K-12

All features of the TI-84 Graphing Calculator and TI Navigator will be put together in this workshop. Participants will start from scratch with the Navigator and learn each of its features. After familiarizing with Navigator components, the process will introduce how to create lessons, labs, and exams through the Learn Check program and how to analyze class results. TI Connect will be covered in depth to allow participants to interact with all features and transfer material from one calculator/program to another. The TI website will be dissected and used to add variety to the classroom and new lessons to teach. This course will be tailored to areas participants need most.

Seth Danner is a certified T3 regional instructor for Texas Instruments. He also teaches mathematics in Waterbury, Connecticut and looks forward to returning to Maine, where he spent his high school years, for the Summer Institute.
