PASCO Training 6-12

Instructor Lara Sharp

Attendees will get intensive hands-on training on PASCO's GLX datalogger. The GLX is a handheld, self contained data acquisition unit. It is an excellent and powerful technology tool for any science classroom. Up to 8 sensors can be inserted into the GLX and it has its own screen that allows students to see data being taken in real time. All curriculum areas will benefit from this workshop. This is an activity driven workshop (be prepared to go outside). Attendees will also learn how to download data from the GLX into PASCO's Datastudio software for extended analysis. Participants are STRONGLY encouraged to bring their own laptops. All necessary equipment and software will be provided.

Instructor Lara Sharp is the New England Education Technical Representative for PASCO Scientific and looks forward to bringing her expertise and her enthusiasm for the GLX datalogger to the Summer Institute.
