Jim Lengel teaches about communication with new media, such as computer multimedia and the Internet. Before joining the faculty at Boston University, he worked as Education Technology Consultant for the Apple Education Division and served as Vermont's Deputy Commissioner of Education. He has consulted for Exxon, IBM, Apple Computer, Boston Edison, Houghton Mifflin, Claris, WGBH, Pfizer, Global Beat Syndicate, and other organizations, and has delivered presentations on education and technology to organizations in 30 states and 10 countries. His publications include
