Technology Tools for Supporting Classroom Instruction

The goal of of this session is to introduce teachers to effective integration of technology into their classroom learning through backwards planning. From "What skills/knowledge do I want my students to gain?" to "How will I assess what they have learned?", participants will develop lesson plans and/or units incorporating activities, technology tools, and assessments using National, State and Local standards.  Activities infusing Digital Storytelling, Graphic Organization, WebQuests, Data Analyses, and Internet Research will be introduced and examples given.  Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and classroom content to use during the sessions.  Come join us for a week of looking at the future of digital education.
